| Shaykh Zahir Mahmood English bord. At 16 he studied the Alim (Scholar) course at Bury Da al-Uloom al-Arabiyya al-Islamiyya in Bury, England. He then studied 3 more years in al-Jamia al-Islamiyya in Karachi, Pakistan. He then went to Newcastle Dar al-Uloom, and South Africa. He came back to the UK and then completed a BA in Applied Theological Studies from the University of Birmingham. He was an Imam of Birmingham Central Mosque, and now has founded as-Suffa Insitute of Learning in Birmingham UK where he resides as a scholar teaching. |
